We have loved having Mr. Will (Cooper's Dad) and Ms. Farmer come in and share Junior Achievement lessons with our classes.
Mrs. Bianchi is full of surprises! She came in disguised as a character from the book A Bad Case Of Stripes. It took the class a few minutes to guess who she really was. The children were SUPER excited to have her read to them. Thank you Mrs. Bianchi for sharing your time with us!
This nine weeks we studied the lifecycle of a plant. The children got to smell, feel and look at different types of seeds and tried to match them to plant it came from. A funhands on science experiment. We are very excited to have had a chance to watch caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies! The first picture you will see is when we came back from the weekend. Our butterflies had emerged from their chrysalis and had found a way out of their "house." We found several butterflies around the room that we helped find their way outside. :) Then we were able to release the others from thier "house" and land on the bushes outside. It is a very exciting time!
